About Us

Our story

The Birdcage Boutique is a unique residence in the heart of Phnom Penh.

Years ago the home of Japanese Embassy staff, the property has just undergone a complete renovation.

Our 12 guestrooms have high ceilings and are equipped with handmade furniture, cable TV with international channels, writing desk and chair, mini bar, air conditioning and free high speed WIFI.

Outside we have a large freshwater pool, restaurant and undercover lounge bar, all set in tropical gardens full of exotic plants and flowers, behind a very private walled and gated villa.

We are ideally located within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shopping and tourist attractions. Our friendly staff is ready and waiting to serve you.

Why stay with us ?

The Birdcage Boutique is a short 5 minute walk to Independence Monument, 10 minutes from the riverside and surrounded by restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

We can arrange tuk tuk’s as well as daily tours and longer distance coach travel throughout Cambodia and beyond.

Our staff team are super friendly and speak a good level of English.

Our small standard room is very suitable if it's just for a short stay or if you're not too picky. The room is very comfortable for a single guest, yet big enough to accommodate 2 persons in a double bed.

Our superior rooms are slightly larger than the standard rooms. The king-size bed provides you with enough space and comfort, ideal if you don't want to wake up your bed partner. The wardrobe offers you plenty of storage.

Our deluxe rooms are the biggest on our premises, ranging between 25 and 34 m². Besides a working desk, some also have a seating area. A couple of deluxe rooms also have a bath-tub with an overhead shower. Rooms are equipped with the latest Smart Tv's.

Our best room gives you access to a large private balcony overlooking the bar and garden.

The four poster King size bed adds an extra touch to the room. There is a seating area and the room has some plants to make you feel even more at home. In addition to the air-con there is also a ceiling fan. The smart TV gives you the necessary entertainment if needed.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
